I’m amazed at how fatigue has snuck up and hit me like a brick wall this week. As a result training changed to focus on recovering in time for the upcoming half marathon.
Week 18 – wow I have made it halfway through the marathon program! This week Sharon and I took on a 15km time trial in preparation for Gold Coast half marathon.
Quote from the coach, “So I dropped one session this week to try to lighten things up for you”. Great! But then the end of the week rolls around and I realise that I have been deceived into running more kms than last week, over only four days.. what!
