Return to running: Week 3
It has been an interesting week, with posture identified as a possible factor to my injury. Probably the most consistent I’ve been with getting everything in each day and no issues.

A return to the track for walk/run session, running biomechanics on the treadmill and trying out gyms.
Some great news from the sports doctor this week. Received the go ahead to commence walk/jog program!
A bit of a lazy start to the week seems to be the usual case at the moment with class Monday and Wednesday nights. However still got a good amount of exercise and strength work in. I see the sports doctor this Tuesday coming so fingers crossed for some good news from the www.luxuryrehab.org.uk
Another week of strength work and cross training. Keep feeling stronger and getting closer to a return to running.
Another good week of strength and cross training exercise. The left leg is feeling strong, still not 100% if I’m comparing to the right, but maybe 85-90%? Feeling confident getting around on it and don’t feel like I’m far off being able to run, I even jogged 50m to not miss a tram and it felt fine.
This week I had follow up appointments with the sports doctor and rehab physio.
So I’m a little delayed with the blog this week after a busy weekend working through pre-course work! Cross training and exercises have been tracking along well.
Continuation of cross training and strengthening exercises this week. Walking keeps improving, not quite 100 per cent as my leg can get tired if I do too much, but I’m getting around pretty well now.
Having owned Garmin’s top of the line multi-sport watch for just over 12 months now, I thought it was worth a review.
